Experience “Wondrous Journeys”, The New Nighttime Show in Disneyland Resort

In this brand-new evening extravaganza, watch as 100 years of Disney animation swirl around you! This show celebrates 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios in an experience that ignites the dreamer in all of us, and will also feature an original new song, “It’s Wondrous,” that promises to capture your heart and spark your imagination.

As part of the Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort, the new nighttime spectacular “World of Color – ONE” has debuted at Disney California Adventure Park! During this incredible show, witness some of your favorite Disney characters come to life in amazing ways.

Find Platinum-Infused Décor All Around the Resort

Platinum-infused decorations have beautifully decorated both theme parks, the Downtown Disney District, and the hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Two new water fountains will be added to Disneyland Park, and Sleeping Beauty Castle will be decorated with platinum banners and bunting, a spectacular gemstone, and a brilliant wishing star.

Find Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends on Main Street, U.S.A. wearing platinum-inspired clothes.  Visitors can find platinum statues and medallions all over the resort, which make for fantastic photo ops!

Visit the Newly-Reopened Mickey’s Toontown

Explore vibrant worlds filled with animated experiences and fun interactive ways for families to play together in the recently reopened Mickey’s Toontown. Climb aboard the new attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway for a wild journey into a vibrant cartoon universe full of surprising twists and turns. The newly renovated Mickey’s Toontown will provide more play options and attractions than ever before including grassy areas where your family can play or relax.

Ride Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey and Minnie Mouse now have their own ride-through attraction at the Disneyland Resort! This family-friendly experience transports visitors into the crazy and unpredictable cartoon world of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, where they will board a train built by Goofy and go on an outrageous adventure. The El CapiTOON Theater in Disneyland Park is home to this fun, new attraction.

See your Favorite Characters at the “Magic Happens” Parade

Watch the return of the whimsical “Magic Happens” parade in Disneyland Park, which honors unforgettable moments from classic Disney tales. Disneyland guests can now make reservations for the limited-time “Celebrating Disney100 at the Disneyland Resort” guided tour, launching on April 7! Guests will get the unique opportunity to walk through Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with an official Disneyland tour guide, tour Buena Vista Street, Animation Academy, Main Street Opera House, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Sleeping Beauty Castle, and take part in a unique drawing experience at Animation Academy that features special characters for Disney100.

This tour also includes: A Disney100 Celebration treat, reserved viewing for the “Magic Happens” Parade on the day of the tour, a specially designed Disney100 commemorative pin, and a complimentary digital download of your snapshot in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle adorned with dazzling Disney100 celebratory decorations.

A new exhibit inspired by Walt Disney’s idea for Disneyland to be the place where his films come to life will be housed in the Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park. Beautiful illustrations produced by original Disney animators for some of Walt’s earliest movies may be found within, along with illustrations drawn by original Disney Imagineers for the park’s recreation of those tales.

A replica of a multiplane camera, an animator’s workspace, and other items will also be on show. It’s an exquisite homage to Disney movies that were turned into Disneyland Resort attractions, park adventures that subsequently served as inspiration for Disney movies, and the rich traditions that each of them share.
