Tier One Travel recently brought together valued supplier partners for its annual Supplier Appreciation Christmas Potluck, an event that has become a meaningful tradition within the Canadian travel industry. Held in Calgary, Alberta, the gathering was designed to celebrate the collaborative relationships that support Tier One Travel’s consultants and clients year-round.
While this year’s event was expected to be record-breaking in attendance, severe winter weather, including airport closures, limited travel for many invited guests. Despite the challenges, a dedicated group of suppliers braved the conditions to join the Tier One team for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and festive celebration.
“The strength of our business is rooted in the relationships we build,” shared Shelley Ewing, Tier One Travel President/Partner. “This annual event is our way of saying thank you to the suppliers who support our consultants, our clients, and our continued growth.”
Suppliers in attendance represented a wide range of travel sectors, including airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, and wholesale partners: Tina Kensett (Air Canada Vacations), Denis Parry (Air North), Brad Gibson (Collette), Karli Kincaid (Delta Airlines), Sharon Wilson (Exoticca), Ana Santa Maria (G Adventures), Jason Stratford (Goway), Vicky Lubyk (Ponant / Paul Gauguin), Jeff Carpenter and Donna Engler (TravelBrands), Jordan Harris (TTC), and Irene Wong (WestJet Vacations).
