I have made a career in the travel industry starting in 1979 as a Junior Consultant at a downtown Calgary agency. In the years since, I have worked for several travel agencies, a tour operator, and spent 7 years with Canadian Airlines and American Airlines in a Revenue Management capacity. I have been an independent agent with TierOne Travel since 1997.
Given these broad areas of experience, I specialize in international travel, both corporate and leisure. I have completed specialist training with Princess Cruises, Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, Tourism Australia, and Paul Gaugin Cruises, as well as specialized Group Travel with Air Canada and Westjet for local sports groups.
I have travelled to the following places and as a result have excellent product knowledge of:
Mexico, Australia, Thailand, Bali, Galapagos Islands, Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain, Arizona, California, Las Vegas, New York City, Florida, Texas, New Zealand, Hawaii and Belize.

"Before we started using Jack as our travel agent, we generally did everything ourselves. The Internet made it relatively easy to view & compare flights, hotels & car rentals. It worked reasonably well on trips that were not overly complicated, but took a lot of time. We were never really sure if we'd overlooked something when we booked. Not knowing how agents were reimbursed, we also thought there would be an additional fee for using a travel agent which has not happened.
