I have been employed by travel companies since I was 17 years old, first in The Netherlands and since 1982 in Canada. In the Netherlands I managed together with my 2 brothers a chain of 19 travel agencies, a coach company and a coach tours operator.

In Canada, I have been mainly involved with corporate travel and arranging travel packages to Europe.

In the last 5 years I have been organizing battlefield tours to Europe, following the routes the Canadians travelled during both World Wars. We had very successful trips to Normandy, Belgium and the Netherlands and an in-depth historical trip to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland visiting sites associated with the rise and fall of the Third Reich.

I also organized a tour for a reserve regiment of the Canadian Army back to Sicily and the mainland of Italy to honor the members of their regiment fallen during World War 2 with emotional ceremonies at the Canadian war cemeteries.

I specialize as well in private tours for Canadians wishing to visit the sites where their relatives have fought. These tours are completely customized to see where the family member must have been.

I have visited almost every country in Europe extensively and I am really enthusiastic about the former Dutch Antilles, Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao and I have several packages to these islands.
